Marketplace Phase 2 — An Update

The past year was difficult for all, but we trust our vision and keep building to give you the best platform that combines NFTs and DeFi at best. So, keep reading to find out the estimated date of release!

The team has been working on a new marketplace version with the goal of making Liquid Collectibles a more complete platform for everyone — users and projects. Now, we are in the final stages of development, which include the following features:

Buying and selling NFTs at a custom price

Nowadays, users can instantly buy and sell NFTs instantly at the floor price, a perfect feature for those looking for liquidity.

But, we know the rarest and most attractive NFTs are rarely listed at floor prices; that’s why our new marketplace will facilitate access to rare NFTs by allowing users to:

• Buy/Sell NFTs at a custom price using $BNB and $BUSD.
• Make offers/bids on NFTs using $BNB and $BUSD.

All while still being able to purchase floor-priced NFTs with $BNB and NFT indexes.

Rarity info and filters by trait

Currently, Liquid Collectibles’ platform has no rarity information, and trait data is only available on the NFT details page (with no filtering option). However, filters by trait and rarity are coming to the new marketplace!

Analytics

We want to give you more information on what is happening on the platform, so the new version will have a Stats section showing the marketplace activity, statistics, index and NFT price graphs, among others.

Security

Security is a top priority subject in every project, especially in the crypto space, where vast amounts of money are handled daily. At Liquid Collectibles, we put our users and their safety first; that’s why we decided to go for a strategic partnership with Hashex, experts in blockchain audit and consulting, to build the new marketplace.

They are in charge of smart contract development and backend development for the new marketplace, while the LICO team is in charge of UX/UI and frontend development.

Redesign

We also redesigned 80% ~ 90% of the website to make it much more visually appealing and user-friendly. This new design also allows us to show all the new functionalities cohesively. We can’t wait for you to see it!

We are currently in the final stages — making internal testing of the marketplace and optimizing its performance — with the idea of launching a Beta version in the first quarter of 2023.
